      After my Indonesia trip, we went to Penang, Malaysia for a few days. To be honest, we didn’t do much research about Malaysia before we got there, so we were incredibly surprised when we arrived. The city was filled with really nice looking high-rise apartment buildings and there seemed to be a decent amount of wealth. We were staying in George Town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage area, so it looks quite different than the very much city areas we passed on our way there.     Singapore

      It stormed a majority of the whole time I was in Singapore, so I wasn’t able to do all of my itinerary (MacRitchie Reservoir Treetop Walk and Lazarus Island), but I still got to do some exploring! The first day I got there, I immediately went to Din Tai Fung, as all of my friends recommended. I actually think they’re in the States now too, but I’d never been and really enjoyed my salad and soup dumplings! From there, I walked to Marina Bay.
