    Singapore

      It stormed a majority of the whole time I was in Singapore, so I wasn’t able to do all of my itinerary (MacRitchie Reservoir Treetop Walk and Lazarus Island), but I still got to do some exploring! The first day I got there, I immediately went to Din Tai Fung, as all of my friends recommended.     South Korea

      After our trip to Japan, we stopped in South Korea for a few days. South Korea had a very different feel from Japan, so it was interesting to see the contrast. Seoul felt very commercial, especially compared to cities in Japan. There are huge malls everywhere, and many of the sites people recommend seeing are newly built shopping and business centers. The subway system is easy to navigate and filled with people at all times. But, there are still South Korean markets and palaces to see.     Japan

      I should start by saying this was one of my favorite trips. Japan is one of the most incredible places. There is an energy of the culture that is enchanting. I should also mention, a big priority on this trip was the food. I am obsessed with sushi and ramen, so I intended to eat as much as possible.
